Szilvia Gilbert Advisory Board Member
Szilvia Born and raised in Budapest, Hungary. She has served several years in the SF Hungarian Scout Association as a high school-level school teacher, 5 years as a Scout Troop Leader, 12 years as the Fundraising Ball Committee Chair, and 7 years as President of the Hungarian Scout Association. She is evident as a member of the Hungarian Cultural Association in Redwood City, member of Kővirág Ensemble, former Managing Director of Eszterlánc Hungarian Folk Ensemble, artistic director and manager of the Pannonia dance ensemble in Brussels, and work on countless Hungarian cultural committees.
Szilvia currently the Vice President of the Hungarian Heritage Foundation of the San Francisco Bay Area. Chair of the annual Hungarian Heritage Festival.
