We will start the day with keynotes but in the afternoon we will form workgroups and work in project teams around issues we care about the most.

These small workgroups will focus on utilizing our networks, our knowledge and innovative technologies to create a better Hungary and US Hungarian community of tomorrow. These will be result-focused sessions. At the end of the day the best teams will present the most inspiring projects on a plenary session. Some of these ideas may end up becoming Neumann Society programs, maybe new projects or even new startups! We want to seed a new era for our transatlantic community.

These are the topics to choose from:

>>> Everyday Heroism and Mindset Shift <<<
Generate mindfulness projects for a better society using Prof. Zimbardo’s model of everyday heroism.
Join the professor for a unique session to help to create a shift in the society!

>>> Towards a Transatlantic Innovation Platform <<<
Tech solutions for transatlantic knowledge transfer, funding, talent & professional network building.
Join fellow techies coders and hackers to plan a killer app for transatlantic IT networking and knowledge sharing.

>>> Awakening New Generations <<<
The role of education, scholarships and mentoring in a transatlantic academic context.
Hungary and California both have great schools and great minds. We are looking at new ways to connect them to transatlantic innovation.

>>> Community! Community! <<<
Next Gen local/transatlantic community organizing based on social innovation best practices.
How can the US diaspora give back to Hungary? What are the ways social innovation can play a role in this relationship?

>>> Competing in the age of agile innovation <<<
Positioning early stage companies for winning in a digital ecosystem.
Startup lessons and experiences in a transatlantic context. Join this group if you want to learn something or if you want to share what you have learned so far in the startup world.

>>> 21st century Martians <<<
Enable, promote and create opportunity for Hungarian talent, minds, and creativity.
How would a support system work for the newly arrived? Talent and innovation based Next Gen networking, anybody?

>>> Neumann House <<<
Dream up and design a physical mindspace for #hunnovators in Silicon Valley.
How could our community manifest and maintain a physical meeting – and maybe living – place for us in the Bay area?
